Announcing New Things

From now on I will announce new things to you, hidden things that you have not known. They have been created now, and not long ago; you have not heard of them before today, so you could not claim, 'I already knew them!' You have never heard; you have never known; for a long time your ears have not been open, Isaiah 48:6-8

This scripture is a part of a passage spoken to rebellious Israel. However, I find this portion standing out to me because God is doing a new thing in my own life.

My challenge, always, neither a God is knowing the rules, completely, in any given situation. My struggle is always, especially in business, knowing what the world teaches me and its ways to build a business, and God's ways. For the longest time I have felt mocked by the world's opinion. However, today I sensed in the spirit a shift.

My industry, financial planning has been plagued by complainces that have squeezed us, almost dry. Today was one such day. We now have to have all our clients opt-in for an ongoing service relationship. If they don't we cannot charge on-going fees that help support our business. When clients don't get back to us or do with, "I'm opting out!" We have to cancel on-going fees.

Today I had a client get back with an Opt out and several that just plain refused to reply. Even when clients don't reply we have to cancel fees. In the natural this is a turning off of the financial tap. Yet the more I did it the happier I became. It did no make sense, but the Spirit spoke to me and encouraged me. I was happy.

Tonight at connect group I shared briefly what was happening and driving home I saw what God was doing on our behalf right now. It is good, very good. Today I prophesied, not intentionally, to a Christian worker that God was taking us to a new place, a higher place. Tonight I saw this in the Spirit.

I did not see this 'new thing' and it was not conceived beforehand. I am excited by it and honoured. Thank You Lord! Now I await its revelation. Amen!
