Called and Purposed
I- I have spoken; yes, I have called him; I have brought him, and he will succeed in his mission. Isaiah 48:15
This scripture is speaking of Cyrus, King of Persia (Iran)'who would deliver God's people from Babylonian rule. He was a good ruler who allowed people he ruled to have freedom of religion,
Now, if God speaks about a pagan King like this, how does He speak about me, His child?
Ephesians 1:3-6 tells me: 'praise The God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who has blessed us in Christ with every spiritual blessing in the heavens. For He has chosen us in Him, before the foundation of the world, to be holy and blameless in His sight. In love He predestined us to be adopted through Jesus Christ for Himself, according to His favour and will, to the praise of His glorious grace that He favoured us with in the Beloved.'
Paul, the writer of Ephesians goes on and it is well worth the read to grasp the depth of God's favour to,us who choose to become His. Amen!
Now if God says: He will succeed in His mission, then what does hat say about us and the mission we have been given? We will succeed! Amen! This is what we must remember when all hell breaks loose, we will succeed. Amen!
