Spiritual People

The unbeliever does not welcome what comes from God's Spirit, because it is foolishness to him; he is.not able to understand it since it is evaluated spiritually. The spiritual person, however, can evaluate everything, yet he himself cannot be evaluated by anyone. For: who has known the Lord's mind that he may instruct him?
But we have the mind of Christ. 1 Cor 2:14-16

What makes an unbeliever judge God as foolish? Self focus and the belief my judgement is flawless. I see our world full of noise. It is rushing, at a violent speed, towards eternity without the awareness that eternity is made for spiritual beings. What will the natural man look like in a world dominated by spirits?

The spirit world does not bow to man or the flesh, for to enter eternity you enter through death of the flesh. Does the fleshly man recognise his spirit? Probably not! It is all about me, myself and I. We are enough here. But they cannot go into eternity. The you that goes into eternity is the spirit. If you have ignored your spirit, he will be very small and anaemic, will not be able to stand.

Like I said, the natural man does not know or understand God. But, the Spiritual man does because he has the mind of Christ. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
