God's Peace
Don’t you know that your body is a sanctuary of the Holy Spirit who is in you, whom you have from God? You are not your own, for you were bought at a price. Therefore glorify God in your body.
1 Corinthians 6:19-20 HCSB
Having a battle with lust, anger, murderous thoughts, hate and envy are very heavy whwn we are made to be a temple of peace and rest in the Holy Ghost.
I am currently staying in a Christian compound owned by the Samaritan's Purse. I am occupying a room called peace but the last two nights have been filled with all manner of bad dreams and compulsions. I stayed in this room before and had a peaceful time. At present the organisation has visitors from villages in the mountains. Some are unsaved or newly saved. I believe I have experienced that which is troubling one of the villagers. My dreams were filled with murder and disposing of bodies horribly.
Carrying guilt for the past or being troubled by demons is not an attractive prospect. We are called, as Christians, to be a temple of the Holy Spirit. As we invite Him in we experience peace and rest. Any evil thing cannot cohabit with Him as He is mighty and holy. We can trust Him to care for us. Amen!
If we are troubled by evil compulsions we can submit ourselves to the Holy Spirit and ask for release and He will give it. We can trust Him.
If we have sin we can confess it and find forgiveness. Amen! Our God wants us to walk in freedom and be available to Him for His purposes. Amen!
