He is My Salvation


Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid, for Yah, the Lord , is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2 HCSB


In a land of many gods who fail, my God never fails and i can trust Him. I can ramon confident and not fear because He is with me, goes before me amd prepares the way.

Today we drive to Pokrah in readiness for our trek to Annapurna Base Camp. Already on this trip there have been accidents but God has been soverign. Those involved should still be in hospital but aren't. Praise Him!

When you travel with 8 19-22 year old young men you see abundant energy amd maximum risk taking. Therefore, as leaders we must stand in the gap for them, cover them and pray for them. Amen!

In the midst if all this are opportunities to share Christ. It is He who conquered the grave, who overcame all obstacles in His path and rose again to open a way for us. It is Christ alone who has authority and in whom i trust. Amen.

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
