Restoration

"For I know the plans I have for you-" this is the Lord's declararion- plans for your welfare, not for disaster, to give you a future and a hope. You will call to Me and come and pray to Me, and I will listen to you. You will seek Me and find me when you search for Me with all your heart. I will be found by you"- this is the Lord's declaration- Jeremiah 29:11-14

It is time to pray. What is it you want from the Lord? A restored family, healing, breakthrough in business? Then pray! Leave unbelief behind, fast and pray  and seek your God.

Perhaps you need to hear God's heart for you? Pray! Perhaps you can't  believe He loves you? Pray! Perhaps you  need deliverance?  Pray!

Jeremiah gave this message to God's people who had been held  captive in Babylon for 70 years.  It did not look like they would be set free. They had sinned and been captured by Nebuchadnezzar and hauled off to Bablon. Yet here was a message of deliverance, if, the recipients of the message would pray with their whole heart and seek God.

Again the call is to pray. It is interesting that  last night I was given a book on prayer- The Circle Maker. Already I am enjoying it. God is so good. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
