Eternal Life


The one who believes in the Son has eternal life, but the one who refuses to believe in the Son will not see life; instead, the wrath of God remains on him.
John 3:36 HCSB

Eternal life is dependant on what we believe. The above verse was spoken by John the Baptist. John was saying that eternal life was a present experience, not a future one.

I can have eternal life right here, right now. The alternative to eteenal life is God's wrath. What do I choose?

Eternal life bring a promise of freedom from fear, of relationship with God the Father. This I choose. Amen!

Along with eternal life is access to God. I am seated with Christ in heavenly places, this speaks of authority. There is more to eternal life the more we investigate.

Together with Christ Jesus He also raised us up and seated us in the heavens, so that in the coming ages He might display the immeasurable riches of His grace through His kindness to us in Christ Jesus.
Ephesians 2:6‭-‬7 HCSB

Along with eternal life I have accessed God's kindness. His grace has saved me from the wrath. I am saved from the out working of wrath. I am grateful!

I know what my wrath looks like. It is not pretty! Yesterday I resolved the conflict I was having with an employee. I experienced wrath to his behaviour. However God's grace won through. Amen!

The opposite of wrath is grace. Thus is what we receive when we invite Christ into our lives. A good choice! Choose life so that you may live! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
