He is My Peace


You will keep the mind that is dependent on You in perfect peace, for it is trusting in You. Trust in the Lord forever, because in Yah, the Lord , is an everlasting rock!

It is so fitting that I receive these scriptures to read today. The stress levels are high as compliance surrounding the writing of business in the financial sector in Australia is becoming so prohibitive, making money is challenged. I have a commitment to fund an orphanage in Nepal and also run a business. I am stepping right out on the water here.

I want to see God's greatness and allow Him to move. I need Him like never before. Yet as I read scripture the One in whom I trust never fails. He loves big odds. In me there is nothing that can make this all happen but in Him nothing is impossible. I am having to bring a logical mind along with the walk of faith and encourage it to look at Him, He alone is the provider. Amen!

I want to break open the fountains of the deep, to pull down the works of darkness and set captives free. I want to destroy all the works of darkness and let righteousness rule. I want to lift Jesus higher and allow Him to take back territory by enthroning Him above all. That's all! Not much really!!!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
