The Lord is Watching

Now, did you know that verse came after what we Christians often repeat? These verses are from a chapter that dealt with king Asa. Asa had sent silver and gold from the treasury in the temple and sent it to king Ben-hadad, who lived in Damascus to bribe him to break his treaty with King Basha of Israel so he would stop attacking Asa.

Complicated! However, the thrust of the matter is: ' why did you not seek the Lord?' Victory with the Lord is far better than any we can decide. It is more permanent and is blessed. The outcome for Asa was continual war instead of peace.
