Is God Fair?

What then? If some did not believe, will their unbelief cancel God’s faithfulness? Absolutely not! God must be true, even if everyone is a liar, as it is written: That You may be justified in Your words and triumph when You judge. But if our unrighteousness highlights God’s righteousness, what are we to say? I use a human argument: Is God unrighteous to inflict wrath? Absolutely not! Otherwise, how will God judge the world?
Romans 3:3‭-‬6 HCSB

Chapter 3 of Romans is full of steak that requires a lot of chewing and contemplation.

God created the world and all in it. Cannot He also create rules for maximum efficiency? It is as if the man who created an engine is being held to account for telling a ball bearing what its function is and what its parameters are.

We become so enamoured with our own power and arrogance. Ha! Ball bearing!! Behave!

I am learning to trust His way. Today I attempted to work knowing that people were not responding to my emails and messages. Probably had something to do with the current Royal Commission. Anyway, all it took was one very out there businessman to encourage me and I was right. A little encouragement goes a long way!

This little ball bearing will content itself with its role. Amen!
