Sin Revealed, Heart Healed

I give thanks to Christ Jesus our Lord who has strengthened me, because He considered me faithful, appointing me to the ministry — one who was formerly a blasphemer, a persecutor, and an arrogant man. But I received mercy because I acted out of ignorance in unbelief. And the grace of our Lord overflowed, along with the faith and love that are in Christ Jesus. This saying is trustworthy and deserving of full acceptance: “Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners” — and I am the worst of them.
1 Timothy 1:12‭-‬15 HCSB

This is Paul the apostles testimony. It almost reads like a testimony of John Newton, who was a slave trader before salvation. We don't know our sin until it is revealed by God.
This has to be the testimony of many, it is mine.

I continue to have sinful practices revealed to me. As they are revealed I repent and move on in grace. How good is God! He gently reveals our sin, forgives us, cleanses us and calls us sons and daughters. How good is that!

I am currently experiencing such a moment now. I am grateful to God who reveals my sin in such a gracious way. He is not like earthly courts of law where men and women tear others apart to seek what they deem as justice. We destroy, He restores and forgives. Amen!
