Blessing Our World
For the grace of God has appeared with salvation for all people, instructing us to deny godlessness and worldly lusts and to live in a sensible, righteous, and godly way in the present age, while we wait for the blessed hope and appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Titus 2:11-13 HCSB
We were given salvation for a reason: to deny godless lusts and ways and live as an example showing how to be content, righteous and holy before God.
Our world longs for good and pure and in fact feasts on it hungrily. This has been shown in the attention given to the recent wedding of Prince Harry and Megan Markle. The media was full of 'did you know they gave gifts to their guests?' 'Did you know that Harry picked flowers from the garden for Megan's bouquet?' 'Did you know Harry brought a young African boy he had known for many years to his wedding?' And it goes on.
We want people to be good and a blessing to others. We want to see Christ in action. How can we bring this magic to our worlds? Hungry hearts are waiting to be fed. Amen!
