Grafted in Again

Therefore, consider God’s kindness and severity: severity toward those who have fallen but God’s kindness toward you — if you remain in His kindness. Otherwise you too will be cut off. And even they, if they do not remain in unbelief, will be grafted in, because God has the power to graft them in again.
Romans 11:22‭-‬23 HCSB

As any good father, our father God disciplines. Discipline can make Him seem severe. Yet our earthly fathers were severe for a time. I remember the times I received the strap. I did not like the strap and at the time I received it I considered my father severe. However, it lasted but for a time. I also remember times of fun with my dad.

The beautiful thing about the above scripture is that God can graft those who walk away, back in again, when they turn in repentance. Nothing can separate us permanently from His grace. Amen!

However, we must realise, and accept, that God is not just a sugar daddy. Holiness is important to Him, as is obedience.
