Highly Valued Others

A man who finds a wife finds a good thing and obtains favor from the Lord .
Proverbs 18:22 HCSB

Not all men believe they have found a good thing (a treasure) when they find a wife from God and too easily give them up or leave them for what they think is a good thing. Often to their surprise their view of a good thing happens not to be as expected.

Not all women want to be found as a 'good thing' especially if they have been married before and it ended in failure. Also, women can adapt much easier to being single than men and so prefer singlehood.

However, there is a happy medium in the middle. I know many successful marriages with both parties happy with finding and being found.

A good spouse is a gift from God and can bring much blessing. It is important that we treat others as if they were a most precious gift and value them highly. Highly valued others are great responders. Amen!
