Keeping Love on
Love endures with patience and serenity, love is kind and thoughtful, and is not jealous or envious; love does not brag and is not proud or arrogant. It is not rude; it is not self-seeking, it is not provoked [nor overly sensitive and easily angered]; it does not take into account a wrong endured.
1 CORINTHIANS 13:4-5 AMP
Lord, have mercy! I need Your kind of love! I confess I can be too sensitive about wrongs endured. The harsh realities of business hurt me and especially when Christians are involved. My clients I seek to protect and my associates I expect to have heart.
I am sure little children struggle with harsh realities of life as well. Although Jesus told us to come as little children we are so bruised by harsh experiences we struggle with the protections we have in place as defences against cruel life experiences, and yet we must stay soft. There is the conundrum.
Keeping love on through conflict is very difficult yet with Gods grace, possible. Amen!
