My Salvation

Indeed, God is my salvation; I will trust Him and not be afraid, for Yah, the Lord , is my strength and my song. He has become my salvation.”
Isaiah 12:2 HCSB

Salvation only comes from God! Mankind will fail us but God prevails. He alone has His eye constantly upon us. He is our advocate. We must choose to trust Him and keep our eyes on Him. There is no room for half-hearted measures, no trusting self and trusting God.

As I trust Him, I need not be afraid. He never fails in His care for me. However, I must accept the fact that I do not know what is best for me. I cannot control God. His plans are way beyond mine.

When Jesus told His disciples: seek first the kingdom of God, He did not say this tongue in cheek. The Old Testament tells us to love God with our heart, soul and strength and Jesus reiterated these words. So, I guess this is the key. Love God with all you have, put Him first and then trust Him. Amen!
