We Are Being Watched

Therefore, since we also have such a large cloud of witnesses surrounding us, let us lay aside every weight and the sin that so easily ensnares us. Let us run with endurance the race that lies before us, keeping our eyes on Jesus, the source and perfecter of our faith, who for the joy that lay before Him endured a cross and despised the shame and has sat down at the right hand of God’s throne.

The large cloud of witnesses are those who have gone before, along with those in our world who are watching and waiting for the revealing of the sons and daughters of God.

All creation waits for this revealing. Jesus, the Son of God sent His Holy spirit to empower us to bring forward the glory of God. The glory of God is revealed in us as we endure the race before us, keeping our eyes on the goal before us. Eternity awaits us but in the meantime a hungry world waits to see the true power of God, not how good we can dress or talk but how we demonstrate the goodness of God.

Building businesses and churches are not what they want, they want people empowered by the Spirit of God, walking in the divine. Amen!
