Spirit Focus

You are free, but still you are God's servants, and you must not use your freedom as an excuse for doing wrong.
1 Peter 2:16 CEVDC

Jesus paid the price so that we could be free from sin. No longer do we need to walk afraid of sinning. If we do sin, we know it and can confess it and walk away. However, being made free is the first part, walking in forgiveness' freedom requires us to walk in the Spirit and not the flesh.

Walking in the Spirit says to my flesh, "carnal appetite does not rule me, instinct does not rule me but rather the Spirit of God rules me."

Paul puts it this way:
People who are ruled by their desires think only of themselves. Everyone who is ruled by the Holy Spirit thinks about spiritual things. If our minds are ruled by our desires, we will die. But if our minds are ruled by the Spirit, we will have life and peace.
Romans 8:5‭-‬6 CEVDC

So, today, what is the Spirit saying? Where is He going and who does He want to reach? Amen!
