Training Our Children

Teach a youth about the way he should go; even when he is old he will not depart from it.

If we give our children loving, godly lessons and not abuse they will flourish. As we are seeing today, most publically, abuse begets abuse, lack of godly training and a diet of selfishness produces adults that care not for their elders, kill babies and do as they please.

If we want a good life, respect in old age and care in old age then we need to teach our young the right way to go. The best lessons we can give them are following Christ and laying down their lives for their friends and families.

Godliness is best. A heart for the Lord and His ways is tantamount to godliness. Godliness will save us. A people with a heart for their God and His word are the foundation to a good life.

King David had a few failures, we may have failures. We can repent and do our best to heal the breach, and pray. Gods forgiveness is real and His enabling power will go with us. Amen!
