This Psalm is a prophetic Psalm about Jesus. In the beginning verses we see reference to His treatment on the cross and the scorn that was heaped upon Him.
Yet we know He rose from the dead. The prayers He prayed both facing agony and in agony on the cross were heard. God raised Him up as the forerunner of a new life.
I am raised to this new life and I rejoice in Him. He bore my shame. He went before me. I need not be ashamed. Amen!
Today we live in the joy of His salvation. He is our redeemer and our life. Praise Him!
