A Promise

For everyone who calls on the name of the Lord will be saved. Romans 10:13 HCSB

If the promise is: will be saved, if I call on Him, it does not matter how I feel.

Whilst my coming alive in Christ was a living experience, there have been times I have repented about something and felt nothing and had to trust.

We have an accuser who loves to shout unforgiveness at us: "you are too far gone now; how can God forgive this?; you don't deserve forgiveness this time; God is over you!"

You have two enemies of your soul: Satan and you. If you have been good at accusing yourself and telling yourself you are hopeless and even worse you listen to yourself, tune yourself out and tune into the truth of God's word. It alone can set you free. Confess it! Praise it! Speak it out, loud and clear! Things will begin to change.

Remember! God's word is true, the voice in your head is a liar! Amen!
