It is Complete

A jug of sour wine was standing by. Someone put a sponge soaked with the wine on a javelin and lifted it to his mouth. After he took the wine, Jesus said, “It’s done . . . complete.” Bowing his head, he offered up his spirit. John 19:29‭-‬30 MSG

We all know what something 'incomplete' looks like: a project started with enthusiasm and left unfinished: new gym equipment purchased with glorious goals yet months ot weeks later lying idle. Yet imagine Jesus going to the cross half- hearted, we could have been left in our sin and sickness. Yet He pursued His goal, our freedom, to the end.

'Are you weary in well-doing, walking on the road to new Jerusalem, are you hoping and praying, looking any minute for the Lord to come, and do you see a lot of pleasant looking places, why you might lie down and take a rest, and if you do take a look at all the faces there, their faces will tell you that it's best, to keep on walking.' (Dogwood-song)

I am grateful that Jesus kept walking. I will be grateful if you do also. You are surrounded by a great host of witnesses. Dont fail them! Amen!
