God's people had maintained the sacrifices but worshipped foreign gods as well, they were oppressing the poor amd dealing unjustly with their neighbours and God said He was sick of their feasts and sacrifices and because of their sin would send them off to captivity again.

In Roman's 12 Paul tells us:

Love must be without hypocrisy. Detest evil; cling to what is good. Romans 12:9

If we love the poor, genuinely love them, we will do justice. What is justice?

Justice is not just law or throwing money at people, it is more. Amen!
