Stay Close

And now, friends, we ask you to honor those leaders who work so hard for you, who have been given the responsibility of urging and guiding you along in your obedience. Overwhelm them with appreciation and love! Get along among yourselves, each of you doing your part. Our counsel is that you warn the freeloaders to get a move on. Gently encourage the stragglers, and reach out for the exhausted, pulling them to their feet. Be patient with each person, attentive to individual needs. And be careful that when you get on each other’s nerves you don’t snap at each other. Look for the best in each other, and always do your best to bring it out. 1 Thessalonians 5:13‭-‬15 MSG

I cannot say I never snap at people who get on my nerves. This is when I need more grace. If I take a breath, turn to the Lord and ask, it is there.

We have just had a long hot summer and it tried me sorely. I had to go slower and stay cooler than ever. However, there are times we cannot control our environment and that is when we need the cool living water. The HOLY spirit is available any time amd whenever we need Him. He is interested in the glory of God, therefore He us always available.

When I am in pain is another trying time. God has to be my source amd supply. At these times I need more of Him. Stay close. Amen!
