It’s news I’m most proud to proclaim, this extraordinary Message of God’s powerful plan to rescue everyone who trusts him, starting with Jews and then right on to everyone else! God’s way of putting people right shows up in the acts of faith, confirming what Scripture has said all along: “The person in right standing before God by trusting him really lives.” Romans 1:16-17
Most news is bad and so it is good to receive 'good news.' Today I had good news. I travelled several hundred kilometers to see an orthopaedic surgeon. I had been told I had a torn ligament in my shoulder, and several other problems that needed surgery. He told me my problem was minor and he could fix it. Rather than being in a sli g for weeks, I will only have one for 1 day. A much better prognosis and a very nice man.
Now, imagine you have been told you were going to not only live in hell but go there when you die. Imagine a man called Jesus comes along and offers you life and life abundantly. Would you take it. Yes!
