This was a part of a word that God spoke to Jeremiah when he was in jail for prophesying about the destruction of Israel.

I wonder if Jeremiah wanted to know more as he was obliged to say what he saw and the people did not receive his words at all.

Is God speaking to you about what is to come? As our state burns and carries the weight of drought we could assume judgement had come. However, what is God saying?

Why not seek Him. The problem the Israelites had was they only listened to what they wanted to hear. They expected God to rescue them whilst they still worshipped other gods. They expected to be saved because they were God's people. Yet God was speaking a word they did not want to hear.

God promises that we will find Him when we seek Him with all our hearts. Amen!
