rescued

He has rescued us from the domain of darkness and transferred us into the kingdom of the Son He loves.  We have redemption, the forgiveness of sins, in Him. Colossians 1:13‭-‬14 HCSB

This scripture gives me an idea of a movie theme where a mighty king who sees all in His kingdom and the faraway land of darkness. He knows it is time for a rescue plan. He strategies with His Son, the mighty and valiant Yeshua and Spirit, His powerful, unseen force. "Son I will send you into the land of darkness disguised as an infant, you will grown up there and at the right time we will reveal your glory. You will show the Kingdom of God by all you do, and say. You will have to yeild to them, as they will kill you, but hidden in your death will be their life, and I will raise you up again in three days so that they will know you are truly divine. Then I will bring you home in glory and send Spirit to remain on the earth to use all you have done, to bring the lost home to me:

This is exactly what God has done for us. His holy Spirit remains to convict the world of sin,and the righteousness of God. Right now the kingdom of darkness is growing darker whilst the kingdom of God is growing whiter, and cleansing itself from all worldly contamination. The light must shine in the darkness,  and bring home the lost. As we, also, die to darkness, we live to Christ, and shine brightly.

Let your light shine! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
