unfailing love

Enter his gates with thanksgiving; go into his courts with praise. Give thanks to him and praise his name. For the Lord is good. His unfailing love continues forever, and his faithfulness continues to each generation. Psalms 100:4‭-‬5 NLT

The Lord's love is u failing. I fail, again and again, yet He doesn't. I am so grateful He is not like me. Conversely, He is changing me into the image of His Son. He has a job cut out for Him. Yet, He never gives up. Praise Him!

Today I cared for a young pup, who my dog Oscar did not care for. In fact he did not want to share his water bowl with it. In a tussel they knocked over a lovely large pot my late mum had given me. For a split second it was precious, and I  chastised Oscar. Then I reminded myself, it is just a glazed pot, get over it. The pup did a few puddles, I delt with those and concentrated on study. I did not want to do it, but I strengthened my limbs that were hanging down (Hebrews), took a breath and slowly but surely finished. Praise God!

Now, all packed and ready for my trip tomorrow. So looking forward to this break. Snorkelling on the barrier reef. I can handle that! Yes!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
