He heard my cry
I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. Psalms 40:1-2 NLT

He turned to me and He heard my cry. When someone turns around, hearing us cry, we appreciate it.
Being noticed and having someone care enough to stop their own schedule for us is so rare, it is like a breath of fresh air.
This morning I walked past a truck in which a young man sat waiting for his boss. He said hello and smiled. I thought to myself: now I wonder who taught him to do that? Not many young workers in trucks would bother. I wondered if his parents had taught him or whether he had learned to be courteous and appear interestsd because of his work.
Nowadays we all hear the line: have a nice day, even if it is 5pm in the day, the line comes out from sales people.
