I waited patiently

I waited patiently for the Lord to help me, and he turned to me and heard my cry. He lifted me out of the pit of despair, out of the mud and the mire. He set my feet on solid ground and steadied me as I walked along. Psalms 40:1‭-‬2 NLT

No one saw 2020 coming, unless they had divine insight. Neither did they know what the repucussions would be. It was like a massive earthquake with ongoing aftershocks continuing well after the event.

In the midst of all this, whether you have been caught in a land you would rather escape from or comfortable in regions relatively unscathed, those who trust in the Lord benefit best.

We can lose jobs and friends to sickness, but God still prevails. Yesterday was a loss day for me. I lost my employment and was told a good friend may well have advanced cancer. Yet, in all this I see down the road, I know I am on a journey and that my God is in control.

I will pray and obey and watch what God can do. Amen!
