my delicate parts

You made all the delicate, inner parts of my body and knit me together in my mother’s womb. Thank you for making me so wonderfully complex! Your workmanship is marvelous—how well I know it.Psalms 139:13‭-‬14 NLT

If you were asked what were your delicate parts, what would you say? Your emotions? Your brain, your heart? We have many delicate parts, however, we definitely would consider our emotions, or capacity for them as our most delicate.

If this is so, God knew it when He made us. We were made in His image, therefore, with the same capacity He has for emotion. The bible tells us He became angry. We see Him proud of His Son, by turning up at Jesus' baptism. We see His compassion, in healing the sick and raising the dead. So, yes we have His capacity for emotions, we therefore need to learn how to manage these emotions, just as He would. After all, we are His children.

How blessed are we!
