time to re-measure

Always be humble and gentle. Be patient with each other, making allowance for each other’s faults because of your love. Ephesians 4:2 NLT

Making allowances for the faults of others is not common. Rather, the knives are ever ready to cut, slice and dice. Nevertheless, we expect grace and squeal when it is lacking.

Jesus said, " first take the log out of your own eye before attempting to take the splinter out of another's eye". Splinters are small, logs are huge. Perhaps the log makes the splinter seem large, when in fact it is small. Remember we judge others according to our own measure, that is, me first, me second and me third, you can go last! Ha ha!

So...time to re-measure. Allow the Lord to be the judge. Amen!
