a new heart

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 36:26 NLT

This scripture is part of  prophesy given by Ezekiel to Israel whilst in captivity in Babylon. Part of it refers to the people of Israel being brought back to their homeland. This particular scripture refers to the regenerative work the Holy Spirit performs in a heart that is born again. Whilst this prophesy was given in 593BC, it resonates with all believers, it is full of the working of the Holy Spirit.

Prophesy is hope building, especially when navigating dry, barren places, facing,  seemingly, insurmountable, obstacles and fears. Yet, if God said it, it will be done, as long as I do not get in the way, but rather trust. Amen!
