make disciples

And I will give you a new heart, and I will put a new spirit in you. I will take out your stony, stubborn heart and give you a tender, responsive heart. Ezekiel 36:26 NLT

A stony, stubborn heart is recalcitrant and unweilding. Stubborn people can be difficult to work with. Usually it is their way or the highway. This makes bipartisanship untenable.

When I come across such a person I initially endeavour to work with them to a common goal. However, often their way is suited to their fleshly emotions, not an outcome that blesses all.

Scripture tells us to submit to one another. This is the ideal, and provides a platform that blesses more than the initiators. This is always the goal.

We are sent into the world to win souls and make disciples. We should start with us. Amen!
