I imagine , right now, Jesus being mocked, spat upon, and crowned with thorns. Now weak from the scourging, He does not retaliate or condemn. The darkness appears to be winning, but we know ressurection is coming.
Oh praise the One who took my place and raised this life up from the dead. (Song)
