God blesses those who know they need Him

““God blesses those who are poor and realize their need for him, for the Kingdom of Heaven is theirs.”

Today was a day of blessing. I decided to believe I was the head and not the tail. My bond refund came thru and I managed to secure flights home for $1000. Most providers wanted double. I also booked and paid for my holiday with grandson Ollie on my return to Brisbane, it also was cheaper than what was on offer. I then completed my profile for housesitting. I had prayed that the Lord would give me a great place to stay over Christmas so that I could be in my own space and not under foot in my sons house. I have two good potentials and am waiting on their reply.

This afternoon I made my way to the local supermarket and bought a few provisions as I am to go to Chitwan tomorrow with Timothy. He asked me to prepare a testimony and so I did, in Nepali. It remains to be seen how the delivery goes. I had a young boy who lives at my digs check it for me. I now have help! Praise God!

God is good! When you believe He wants to bless you. Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
