“God blesses those whose hearts are pure, for they will see God.”Matthew 5:8 NLT
I came to Nepal 20 days ago and have not sensed God’s presence on any thing or place, until today. I have been seeking God for His way, and into the sea of nothingness came His presence and glory.
I had attended the English church again this morning, had lunch with our new English friends, who leave for England on Thursday, and this afternoon were invited to go along with them on a drive. We went to one of the Koininoa church homes. It was called Martha’s Home. In the home elderly ladies and children live together in a three storey home. We discovered their washing machine was dead. We also discovered that the government was attempting to make them separate children and the elderly because of fear of abuse (to children or elderly I do not know). I felt inspired to pray for a miracle of God for the home. We went up the stairs to look over the home then down to the kitchen for tea. I sensed a boldness come upon me and I said, “I am going to suggest something radical, I want to take up an offering for a new washing machine”. Within minutes we had all that was needed.
God is in that place for me and I found my love for Nepal in the faces of the elderly. I told the pastor who took us there that I wanted to go again.
My hunger for God has been rewarded. When we returned to my digs the elderly Korean again met me and I introduced Warren. This pastor is here to disciple the believers. Praise God! I am enjoying the people bring into my world. I am enjoying the tasks He is giving me to do. Amen!
