Have you heard the saying: “He has a strong constitution’? This usually means that the person in question has strong character. Strong character tells us something about the heart of that person. They have chosen to trust the Lord and allow Him to be Lord of their life.
“We can rejoice, too, when we run into problems and trials, for we know that they help us develop endurance. And endurance develops strength of character, and character strengthens our confident hope of salvation.”Romans 5:3-4 NLT
We can only rejoice in trials when Jesus is the centre, otherwise we complain. If we see the Lord as our strength and song, then, no matter what we rejoice. Amen!
