Teach me

Today I went out with family as they did some water sports. It was fun to watch them. My kayak was not included and I was not permitted on the huge couch being pulled along at great speed, I’ve broken bones before.

I discovered in myself a desire to be included. Yet, I am having to learn to fend for myself, and include myself. Getting offended is not an option.

As my son drove me back to my house sit we talked. It was good to have him to myself and be able to talk about things that are going on in the family. We are planning another outing on Saturday and this time the kayak will go along, I’ll have something to do on the water. Today I sat and painted, it was good for my spirit as painting soothes me.

I see the Lors in all that is happening. He is teaching me a lot about my attitude and keeping my heart free from angst. Good lessons! Amen!
