The Alpha and Omega

“In the beginning God created the heavens and the earth.”Genesis‬ ‭1‬:‭1‬ ‭NLT‬‬

It all began one day, whether we subscribe to the ‘Bing Bang’ or the ‘seven day of creation’, God was there, He started it all and He will end it all. I believe the Bible to be the Word of God. In it this was the beginning.

The book of Genesis was reputed to have been written by Moses. He was not present in the beginning so how did he know? it is thought either God told him or he wrote what mankind had been saying in story times handed down from the beginning. Moses spent a lot of time in God’s presence, it is highly possible God told him, however, we may need to wait for the answer until we see the Lord face to face as he did.

What to do in the meantime? Trust in faith that God did indeed begin all things and that He sustains all things. In the book of Revelation Jesus is called the Alpha and Omega, the beginning and the end (1:8).
