“Yes, God is more than ready to overwhelm you with every form of grace, so that you will have more than enough of everything —every moment and in every way. He will make you overflow with abundance in every good thing you do.”2 Corinthians‬ ‭9‬:‭8‬ ‭TPT‬‬

When I give my tithe I ask the Lord to stretch my finances and He does. I am able to pay my way, support two translators and now enough to support a work in Sindhulpalchok. I am constantly amazed at God’s provision. I live well and am able to bless the house I live in with good things. I do not think lack but allow God to bring the stretch.

We can think lack and we will have lack, we can think abundance and we will have it, overflowing with good measure. More than enough to give.

While back in Australia what I had was mostly taken with rent. However, I paid my tithe and trusted the Lord for the stretch. What was left I bought groceries frugally, but was generous with what I had and still had plenty. I did not talk lack and I had plenty. I acted as a women with abundance.

Now in Nepal with rents so small I can be a blessing with my abundance. We are blessed to be a blessing! Amen!

Little Things Grow

The boy's mother said to Elisha, "as The Lord lives and you yourself live, I will not leave you. So he got up and followed her. 2 Kings 4:30 The Shunamite woman had travelled to Mt Carmel to find Elisha after the death of her son. Although Elisha had sent his servant Gehazi to the boy with his staff the woman had come to find Elisha and was not leaving without him. I like this lady's spirit. I am sure The Lord God Almighty also valued her heart. She had a heart for God and made room for Him in her world. Now, having lost her son she knew what to do: find Elisha and not let him go until he came to restore her son. What made the Shunamite woman believe that Elisha could raise her son? Was it the same faith that made her provide him a place to stay in her home? I believe it was God working in her life. I am grateful for her faith, I can read and be encouraged.
