Walking wisely

“Walk with the wise and become wise; associate with fools and get in trouble.”Proverbs‬ ‭13‬:‭20‬ ‭NLT‬‬

Finding the wise is a challenge! There is so much noise out there! However, the Holy Spirit know who they are. Proverbs tells me who they are.

“Fear of the Lord is the foundation of true knowledge, but fools despise wisdom and discipline.”Proverbs‬ ‭1‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

“Don’t be impressed with your own wisdom. Instead, fear the Lord and turn away from evil.” Proverbs‬ ‭3‬:‭7‬ ‭NLT‬‬

These are few weeks of many verses found in the Book of Proverbs.

The Lord is the source of wisdom, I am not! When I trust in myself and my own wisdom then I will fall.

Today a dear Nepali friend faces court charged with proselytism. A good thing to be charged with. However, in Nepal an offence worth putting a man in jail for. He had also other charges made, which have since been dropped. May wisdom guide his defence!
 This is something we hear from China and North Korea, Pakistan, India, Afganistan, but now it is here.

I am praying that God’s kingsom comes to Nepal and that His will is done! That people are set free from demonic bondage and experience true freedom.

Eternal Life

Teacher I beg you to look at my son because he is my only don. Luke 9:38 For God so loved the world He sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Luke has several stories about parents losing single children. Jesus healed them all. The Only Son reached out to these single child families. Jesus was the favoured only Son. Yet the Father knew He was the Only answer. Abraham was tested regarding his willingness to give up his only son, way back in the beginning, but he was spared because there was one destined to come and pay the perfect price. Amen! The blood of Christ was perfect as it was without spot or blemish. There was great power in that blood, enough power for all men, for all time. The blood secures us freedom from eternal darkness, it brings us into eternal life. Amen! Invite Him in and watch 'life' change your world. Amen!

Keep Watch

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust. Proverbs 4:23‭-‬27 MSG https://bible.com/bible/97/pro.4.23-27.MSG Eyes straight! Jesus taught to keep our eyes on Him. When we drive down the road we must focus straight ahead. Myself, I tend to drive where I look and therefore cannot afford to look to the right or left. This is the same in life. There are times of extreme stress when we are surrounded by problems and drama. It is important, at such times, that we control our thoughts and focus on what is ahead. By focussing on Jesus we contain our thoughts in a zone that already is successful. This is also called walking by faith in the Son of God. We can trust Him! Amen!
