What do you believe?

“If you openly declare that Jesus is Lord and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved.”Romans‬ ‭10‬:‭9‬ ‭NLT‬‬

For years growing up, I was taught I had to earn my salvation. I was raised in a Catholic home. As a young child, there was a period of time where, in the dead of winter, I would ask my mother to wake me so I could go to church, daily. The Catholic Church did not teach me that salvation came through believing that Jesus was Lord, and confessing the same I would be saved. I laboured under a load of doing. It was not until I was 19 that I encountered Jesus personally and made Him Lord. 

Many years later I found one of the priests who had ministered to me and I preached the gospel to Him. He was a very old man and I wanted to be sure that he found the Jesus I knew.

Today I look for those who do not know Him and share my faith with them. Jesus is the best news I ever had. He is the saviour and liberator of all mankind. He is the only way, there is no other.

My passion is the gospel. I disciple around the gospel. Jesus is the way, the truth and the life. No one can come to the Father but through Jesus! Jesus sets captives free! Jesus heals every wound!

Make Jesus your way today! Amen!

Eternal Life

Teacher I beg you to look at my son because he is my only don. Luke 9:38 For God so loved the world He sent His only Son that whoever believes in Him shall not perish but have everlasting life. John 3:16 Luke has several stories about parents losing single children. Jesus healed them all. The Only Son reached out to these single child families. Jesus was the favoured only Son. Yet the Father knew He was the Only answer. Abraham was tested regarding his willingness to give up his only son, way back in the beginning, but he was spared because there was one destined to come and pay the perfect price. Amen! The blood of Christ was perfect as it was without spot or blemish. There was great power in that blood, enough power for all men, for all time. The blood secures us freedom from eternal darkness, it brings us into eternal life. Amen! Invite Him in and watch 'life' change your world. Amen!

Keep Watch

Keep vigilant watch over your heart; that’s where life starts. Don’t talk out of both sides of your mouth; avoid careless banter, white lies, and gossip. Keep your eyes straight ahead; ignore all sideshow distractions. Watch your step, and the road will stretch out smooth before you. Look neither right nor left; leave evil in the dust. Proverbs 4:23‭-‬27 MSG https://bible.com/bible/97/pro.4.23-27.MSG Eyes straight! Jesus taught to keep our eyes on Him. When we drive down the road we must focus straight ahead. Myself, I tend to drive where I look and therefore cannot afford to look to the right or left. This is the same in life. There are times of extreme stress when we are surrounded by problems and drama. It is important, at such times, that we control our thoughts and focus on what is ahead. By focussing on Jesus we contain our thoughts in a zone that already is successful. This is also called walking by faith in the Son of God. We can trust Him! Amen!
