It is also peace loving, gentle at all times, and willing to yield to others. It is full of mercy and the fruit of good deeds. It shows no favoritism and is always sincere.” ‭‭James‬ ‭3‬:‭17‬ ‭NLT‬‬ I see the words ‘’ no favouritism’. I attended a church on Sunday here in Amsterdam. The heavies were all on the front row. A young woman who was seated on the front row in front of me was asked to move so a group of ‘inportant people’ could sit there. One of these ‘heavies’ went and got a camera and was all over the place taking photos and not engaged in worship at all. That same ‘heavy’, at a time when people shake hands with others, perfunctorily took my hand. ...

I am having, what appears, a challenge. My flight back to Nepal on Wednesday, has hit a snag. I am transmitting through Delhi. It is unsure whether I need a transit visa or not. I prayed that if I needed it the process would be smooth. It wasn’t! I could not complete the online application, it was stuck on the second page repeatedly. So now I must pray for a miracle and trust the Lord. Today I am going on a tour of the Dykes and canals. I plan to enjoy the day. Yesterday, before she left, the girl that accompanied me here to the Hostelle sat down to have breakfast. I was able to share the gospel with her and give her my Gideon’s Bible. She told me she has a friend in Columbia who is born again. I told her to spend time with her friend. There is another girl here who needs to hear this message. She is from Perth Australia. I p...

No one can come to the Father except through me.” ‭‭John‬ ‭14‬:‭6‬ ‭NLT‬‬ Yesterday I came across three Muslim men who had set up a table and were attempting to preach their gospel. They picked on the wrong person when they approached me. I gave them the true gospel. I told them the above scripture. After a heated and lengthy discussion I asked if I could pray for them, they consented. I asked the Father to send His Holy Spirit and give them dreams and visions of who my Jesus is, a loving saviour, that He is the way, the truth and the life. Being a senior I could get away with being bossy and overbearing. However, I could see that now only a revelation by the Holy Spirit would set them free. Amsterdam in filled with tens of thousands of homosexuals and like minded people. They will walk and not faint.” Isaiah‬ ‭40‬:‭31‬ ‭NLT‬‬ This scripture blesses me! Yesterday I walked and walked and walked. As my feet hurt I said to the Lord, “I am stepping into healing and trusting you!” I could not succumb to injury. I refused to talk about hurt or pain.  When I returned to my accomodation I paid dearly for a foot soak and massage, however it was worth it. I had such fun talking to people, sharing my walk with the Lord and loving them. All day I found people to share with. Even when I returned to the Hostelle I found girls to talk to. I found that sitting at the lager table where space provided others to sit brought the girls to talk to. I pray for another such day today! God is good’ amen!

I can trust the Lord to accomplish great things in and through me. Yesterday I travelled to Amsterdam on a plane and then found my way to the train. I prayed for God’s help. I enetered the trains dns at down next to a young woman. We talked and I discovered she was going where I was going. How amazing is that! We alighted at the correct station and she used her directions to take us to our accomodation, a women’s only hostel.  This place is unusual as there are no men, and that is good. On the train there were two young men and they were captured with my travel companion.  The hostel is bright and beautiful, clean and safe. I saw a few older women but none my age. “The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences.” Proverbs‬ ‭18‬:‭21‬ ‭NLT‬‬ We love to talk, share our opinions and at times criticise. We should be aware that what we sow we reap, but somehow, forget. When we intentionally speak good we cause life. We can encourage others, refuse to speak illness into ourselves and others, we can left up and cast down with our words. Yesterday, my feet hurt and my left heel was particularly sore. It comes from all the walking we have been doing. My friend knew about my feet and was gracious. We rode push bikes around Copenhagen. We stopped to look at sights and finally had a light dinner at an Intalian restaurant. It was fun! My friend was conscious of not pushing my feet too hard and I was conscious of not speaking death into my feet. It is amazing how well we can do when we manage our words. We had an excellent day and retired to sound sleep. Today, we both catch flights to different places. I am off the Amste...

Sacrificing our selfishness is a pleasing odour to our God, whereas indulging our selfishness stinks. One of my friends had an early start today. She was flying back to the States. I awoke feeling she might have slept in, she did. I quickly woke her and got her packed and off. It is only 4am and she had planned to be at the airport already. However, she wanted to be the required three hours early. We’ve had an adventure together. I will not see my friend back in Nepal until February next year. It was goody to see her and spend time.
