The Hope of Our Calling

I pray that the perception of your mind may be enlightened so that you may know the hope of His calling, what are the glorious riches of His inheritance among the saints. And what is the immeasurable greatness of His power to us who believe, according to the working of His vast strength. Ephesians 1:18,19

We cannot imagine how we, as disciples who walk according to His promise, affect those who do life with us and those who we minister to.

We cannot imagine at the beginning of a project how, with God, it will end. He delights in taking that which is insignificant and making something beautiful and powerful.

Paul's prayer is that we might know 'the hope of Christ's calling on our lives. He also prays that we would have a revelation of the power available to us.

Our God is great and He is for us! His plans are great and immeasurable to us.

My prayer is that we do see! Amen!

One of God's greatest mystery is the birth of the new. He sees it and calls it into being.

I have just received word that Oliver Riley Case, my 7th grandchild, has been born. What awaits Oliver? What plans does our God have for him already? What will that look like in 20 years time?

Our God is good! Amen!
