Contentment

I know both how to have a little, and I know how to have a lot. In any and all circumstances I have learned the secret of being content — whether well fed or hungry, whether in abundance or in need. I am able to do all things through Him who strengthens me.

Ah! Sweet contentment! As my mum was unable to travel over Christmas I stayed at home. We have contented ourselves with gardening and games. I also bought myself a small tent and the last two nights have camped in my back garden. I love the starry sky and camping out allows me to see it in all its glory.

Being content is better than complaining. There is joy to be found if we just look for it. Have the right mindset and anything can be a pleasure. Amen!
