What do I Love?

Do not love the world or the things that belong to the world. If anyone loves the world, love for the Father is not in him. For everything that belongs to the world — the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride in one’s lifestyle — is not from the Father, but is from the world.
1 John 2:15‭-‬16 HCSB

Living to gain possessions and accumulate wealth are an empty end in themselves yet when God gives them they are a blessing. People are more important than possessions and God is most important. If I love Him with my whole heart then I love His people and all that He is involved in.

Living to give is what the kingdom of God is about. For God so loved the world that He sent His Son. JESUS came to seek and save the lost.

These is so much heat being poured on the church and Christians that confusion is the aim. Staying true to God's kingdom is the only way. It is as if our world is caught in a huge storm and everything is being challenged. What isn't built upon the Rock is being ripped out and flung into space.

I am back at work and facing opposition on almost every front but the clients still need compassion and assistance. We cannot afford to lose our way. Souls need salvation.

Lust for approval, acceptance, possessions and glory all must die. These will rot my foundations and I will not stand in the storm.
