Help to the Helpless!

For while we were still helpless, at the appointed moment, Christ died for the ungodly. For rarely will someone die for a just person — though for a good person perhaps someone might even dare to die. But God proves His own love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us!

We know we are not good enough for someone we do not know would die for us. Yet Jesus did just that. How good is that!

I am still helpless at times but He is gracious towards me. For this I am grateful!

Today represents Good Friday, the day Jesus was crucified for our sin. Today we can be free, totally free, not because we are good enough but He in me makes it so.
