Walking in the Light

Now this is the message we have heard from Him and declare to you: God is light, and there is absolutely no darkness in Him. If we say, “We have fellowship with Him,” yet we walk in darkness, we are lying and are not practicing the truth. But if we walk in the light as He Himself is in the light, we have fellowship with one another, and the blood of Jesus His Son cleanses us from all sin.

Walking on the light, God's light shows by our actions. We can go to church but still be in darkness and it will show. If we walk in cleanliness and truth before the Lord we are free and full of joy.

Walking in the light means we are not walking in sin or deception. We cannot be deceived if we are walking in the light. Walking in the light, we love the truth of God's word and it cleanses us and frees us from bondage.

Another clear sign that we are walking in the light is we have good fellowship with one another. Good fellowship means we walk in truth with one another. Amen!
