Conquer Evil

Do not be conquered by evil, but conquer evil with good.
Romans 12:21 HCSB

The whole chapter is on Christian living, a good read. The above verse is the finale. Whenever in doubt as to how to conquer evil, conquer it with good: good prayer, good actions, good talk, be good.

Being good is only possible as we draw on Gods goodness. He is good to the core. As we abide in Him, we have His goodness, meekness, faith, love, joy, peace, self-control, gentleness, patience. Sounds like a basket of fruit and it is, the fruits of the Spirit. (Galatians 5:22)

Without the Holy Spirit's help I am cold and callous at times and gushy at others. Neither are good attributes and need trashing, however in The Spirit I am Gods representative. I am dependant on the Holy Spirit, I need Him to drive. Amen!
